Selected early works that trace the evolution of my artistic practice.
The Archive brings together selected projects developed before my current artistic research programme. Rather than documenting a chronological history, it highlights the experimental foundations that continue to inform my practice today.
These early works explore recurring questions surrounding embodiment, materiality, performative action and spatial form—questions that later evolved through immersive media, artificial intelligence and living systems. Together, they reveal an ongoing process of artistic inquiry rather than a sequence of isolated projects.

This selection includes performances presented at international festivals and independent artistic events. These works explored the body as a medium of experience, establishing questions of presence, transformation and embodied action that continue throughout my practice.

Exploring garments as sculptural
and performative forms.
Between 2011 and 2015 I developed a series of experimental, non-commercial fashion collections under the label Anniss. Rather than creating products for the fashion market, these collections investigated clothing as an artistic medium, examining relationships between the body, geometry, materiality and movement.
Although independent from my current research, this period established an early interest in garments as spatial structures and performative objects—an investigation that later expanded into digital fashion, costume design and ultimately SYMbiotic Couture.

These works explore the relationship between the body, material form and cultural symbolism. Developed as integrated installations rather than independent objects or photographic series, they investigate how familiar symbols acquire new meanings through performative action, material transformation and contextual displacement.

Olympic Rings is a contextual art project created during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The work consists of a sculptural object formed from five Olympic rings welded from barbed wire together with a series of five performative photographs depicting the body performing complex gymnastic movements while interacting with circular forms constructed from the same material.
Presented as a single installation, the object and photographs establish a dialogue between the universal ideals associated with the Olympic symbol and the physical realities of restriction, violence and vulnerability. Through the juxtaposition of body and object, the project questions the tensions that emerge when ideals of unity, freedom and peaceful competition confront political and social realities.
